Unmounted Stamping Tips

I have found a way around mounting the unmounted rubber image on cushion which saves a step in cutting. After cutting around the rubber image, I use double stick tape to attach it directly to an acrylic block. Usually one strip of double stick Scotch tape will be enough. Then to stamp, I put an old mouse pad on my desk; place my paper on the pad and stamp. The mouse pad under the paper replaces the cushion on the rubber and allows for a good image. by Joyce T

When I mount an unmounted stamp onto a piece of wood, if I don't have any cushion on hand, I use Fun Foam.
Fun Foam can be found at Craft and other crafty type stores and is very cheap. A large sheet of it can be purchased for about a dollar. It seems to work as well as any other cushion I have used. Gail Klingele, a member of Wowstampers.
