Chalk Pouncing Technique by: Susan Chong
Supplies:
Kleenex
VersaMark Stamp Pad
Decorative Chalks
Matte White Cardstock
To make your background, take your Kleenex and swirl on the chalk. Then you can apply to the paper by swirling, swiping, pouncing or rubbing. Experiment for different looks. Use one color or combine several colors. (You may want to seal the background with hairspray or Krylon Workable Fixative.)
Apply VersaMark to your stamp and stamp image over the chalk background.
You may immediately apply chalk to the image. To add color to the image, load up your Kleenex with chalk and POUNCE the chalk to onto your image. (do NOT rub the chalk over the image or you might smear the ink) Blow any excess chalk off the image – again, don’t rub!!
You may use one color on your image or combine and overlap several.
