I have been stamping for about 6 years. I had always enjoyed crafting – especially paper crafts – but didn’t think I would enjoy stamping since I thought all stamps were cute and that just isn’t my style! I attended a stamp party where my eyes were opened to the range of stamps that are out there. Shortly after that I bought my first copy of Stampers’ Sampler and I was hopelessly addicted and knew I had found my true calling! Back then I only had a few stamps and ink pads, but I made the most of them. I’ve added to my collection substantially since then, but still believe you can do a lot with just a few good stamps, inks and paper.
I love submitting my artwork to magazines and have been published in Stampers’ Sampler, Take Ten, Somerset Studio, Legacy, Gallery III, and Altered Arts. I will also be featured as the Guest Artist in the August/September 2006 issue of Stampers’ Sampler.
I grew up in Oregon, but have lived in California, Texas, and now live just south of Memphis, TN in Mississippi. I have two great kids – Olivia, 17 and Luke, 14 - and a wonderful husband who is my biggest fan.
