Dragonfly stamp (lasting Impressions with Panache)
Rainbow Dye Ink
Document Ink (Black)
Eyelets
White glossy cardstock, cut to size
Cranberry matte cardstock for card
Blue cardstock for layering
Brayer
Variegated color fibers
Instructions:
1. Using white glossy cardstock, stamp Rooster with Document black ink.
2. Color the Rooster with Lyra metallic pencils. Apply a good amount of pressure so there is a thick layer of waxy pencil covering the parts of
the image you want colored.
3. Once the image is colored, ink up a brayer with Rainbow ink. Brayer over the entire piece of glossy paper until the entire background is covered. The waxy pencil covering the dragonfly will resist the ink.
4..Use a tissue to buff the waxy pencil off of the rooster. A pastel version of the color from the pencil will remain on the rooster.
5. Punch the four corners of the rooster cardstock. Insert eyelets. Put the fibers through the card using the
eyelets as a guide. Secure the fibers on the back of the cardstock.
6. Layer the rooster cardstock onto the Navy cardstock , then onto the cranberry folded cardstock to finalize your card.
Thanks to Denyse from Lasting Impressions with Panache for teaching me this technique.
