Materials needed:
Cardstock
Background papers
Ribbon (optional)
exacto knife/scissors
Fiskar decorative scissors (optional)
double stick tape
1/8" hole punch
1. Cut one piece of cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (half sheet cardstock) and fold in
half (for a finished folded size of 5 1/2" x 4 1/4").
2. Choose coordinating pieces of background paper to layer on card. Cut two pieces
of background paper to 5 1/4" x 4".
3. Glue one of the 5 1/4" x 4" pieces of the background paper inside the card. This
will be where you will stamp your message.
4. Trim the second piece of 5 1/4" x 4" background paper with your choice of
decorative scissors. Be sure to trim off just a sliver. Glue the trimmed piece of
background paper to the upper inside flap of the card.
5. Fold the lower left and right corners of the card front up until they meet, creating
a triangle shaped pocket. Crease the edges down.
6. Punch one hole on the inside corner of each small triangle flap. (if needed for
your card)
7. Tie the flaps together with a coordinating ribbon through the holes.
**If you don't want to have a ribbon bow, you can stamp, & cut-out an image and attach
with double stick tape or mounting tape for a different look.
** Now your basic card is done and ready to stuff with all kinds of stamped and cut-out
images.
