Acrylic Paints – lavender and blue metallic, black
Aluminum tape
Acetate
Coin holder
Awl
Foam dots
Black Stazon ink
Black cardstock
White cardstock
Beaded trim
Cornstarch
Water
Foam brush
To make paste paper: Mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons cold
water. Stir in 1 cup boiling water. When cool tint with paints as desired.
Spread on white cardstock with foam brush in a thick layer. Press Creative
Expressions stamp into the paste and remove. Allow to dry.
Card – Cover a coin holder with pieces of aluminum tape. Using an awl, press
along seams to mimic rivets. Brush on black acrylic paint and wipe off, leaving
paint in cracks to give an antique look. Stamp Timeless Beauty on acetate square
with black Stazon ink. Trim and adhere to back of coin holder. Attach a strip of
beaded trim to the bottom. Stamp Creative Expressions repeatedly on black card
with black ink. Layer paste paper panel to black card. Attach coin holder to
card as shown with foam dots.
