This card always gets a lots of "how did you
do that?". It is a very simple card to make. This sample was
done on White Glossy cardstock. The cardstock used was Khromcoate.
First you
stamp the image with black ink onto two of the Glossy cardstock. Next, color in
the images in your choice of Colors. I used Marvey markers to color in
this sample. Set aside one of the cards.
Using the
second card, select parts of the image that you would like to be 3-D. I
selected a couple of the leaves and some of the flower petals of the tulip.
Cut them out being sure to stay right on the line.
Next take
the remaining card and arrange these pieces onto the card. At this point
you will decide with parts look best to you to raise up. Take one of the
Pop up Dots and use under each of the pieces you chose. Put them directly
over their matching area on the card.
Adhere the
finished tulip card to the card that you have selected for the background card.
For this I had selected a Deep Green to match the leaves. I used mono
adhesive to put this card together.
