Art Instructions
On goldenrod colored c/s, stamp various leaves and large leaf with woman using sepia ink. Trace over all lines
and dots using a wood burning tool, being careful not to burn through the paper. Scribble markers on non-porous
surface and use a water brush to paint in the leaves. Highlight woman's eyes, mouth and hair with gel pens.
Trim around each leaf using deckle edge scissors then edge with gold leafing pen. Attach to a piece of hunter
green paper and trim with deckle scissors and edge with gold leafing pen. Attach large leaf with woman to a
piece of metallic gold paper and deckle edge again.
Cut an 8 1/8" x 5 1/8" piece of hunter green paper, edge with gold leafing pen and attach to the front of an 8
1/2" x 5 1/2" clay colored card.
Brayer a piece of white printer paper using the autumn leaves rainbow pad. Crumple up into a ball then flatten
out. Lightly rub the sepia ink pad over the wrinkles. Crumple up again and flatten out. Rub the metallic gold ink
pad over the new wrinkles. Lightly sprinkle with gilded gold embossing powder and heat. Cut two strips, each
1/2" x 4 7/8" and one piece, 3 5/8" x 4 7/8" and edge all with gold leafing pen.
On a 1 3/4" x 4 3/4" piece of brick colored c/s, stamp various leaves with bordeaux ink. Trim with deckle
scissors, edge with gold leafing pen and tear down the center. Attach to slightly larger piece of goldenrod c/s
which has been splattered with bleach. Attach to the larger brayered piece of paper. Attach one leaf on top and
using needle and metallic gold thread, stitch in a crisscross manner, adding seed beads as you go. Attach to
right side of card. Attach other two, smaller strips of brayered paper as shown. Sew remaining three leaves to
the largest leaf, again adding beads. Attach on left side of card as shown.
