Instructions
Make
gilded edge tissue by tearing strips of various colors of tissue paper. Run
embossing marker along one torn edge and coat with silver embossing powder. Heat
emboss. With largest square punch, punch a square in top center of a 4 ¾” x 6 ¼”
piece of sticker paper. Remove liner paper. Starting at the bottom edge, place
strips of the gilded edge tissue, overlapping the strips. Trim to slightly
larger than paper, fold over the excess and glue to the backside. Cut an X
through the punched out square, wrap to the inside and glue on backside. Edge
with silver leafing pen. Attach a 3 ½” square of turquoise c/s to the backside,
underneath the square opening.
Glue a 4”
piece of metallic silver ribbon to a scrap of c/s. Cut out a 1 ¾” square and 6
small stars. Cut 3 lengths of silver thread. Glue two stars back to back,
sandwiching one of one thread between them. Repeat for the other 4 stars so
that you end up with 3 double sided stars. Cut a 1 ¾” hot pink c/s square. Stamp
the greeting with indigo ink. Run the embossing marker along the edge, coat with
silver ep and heat emboss. Turn the silver square on a diagonal, place the other
ends of the threads on top and attach the hot pink square on top. Punch a cobalt
square with the smaller square punch. Silver emboss the edges as before. Attach
to the turquoise c/s in center of square opening. Place the silver diamond with
hot pink square on top. Attach to the front of a 6 ½” x 5” cobalt card.
