Art Instructions
With permanent black ink, stamp Lg. Window once on vellum and again on rose pattern paper. Stamp upper portion only (curtain rod and rosettes) on metallic gold paper and again on maroon cardstock. Cut curtains only out of the rose pattern paper, curtain rod only out of metallic gold paper and rosettes only out of maroon c/s. Attach to corresponding sections on the stamped vellum image. With tan and lt. brown markers, color the window frame on the backside of the vellum. Go over the frame with an opaque white marker. With a craft knife, carefully cut out center and Palladian window panes. Attach a piece of acetate behind the cut outs. Trim vellum image, leaving a slight border. Highlight curtains and rosettes with gold gel pen. Attach window on top of a photo (or substitute scenic paper or magazine picture) with thin foam tape or mini pop dots.
On 5 ½” x 4 ¼” piece of maroon c/s, stamp sentiment across the top with Bordeaux ink. Highlight with gold gel pen and draw three lines underneath the words. Draw a line around the bottom and sides with the same pen. Attach window image on top. Edge a 6 ⅝” x 4 ¾” piece of rose pattern paper with gold leaf pen and attach to a 5” x 7” green heather card front. Attach image on top.
