Scrap Pack: Slipcover & Retro Interlocking Trifold Card Templates
Art Instructions
Trace large (8 ½” x 5 ½”) Retro Trifold card template onto textured lt.orange c/s. Fold on score lines so that sides meet in the middle of the card front. Cut front tabs where indicated so that they interlock on card front. With Flannel rainbow ink, stamp sand dollar on front tabs. With same ink, stamp sandpipers on a 3 ⅝” x 1 ½” scrap of textured lt. orange c/s. Cut in half and attach each half to slightly larger pieces of olive c/s. Attach these to slightly larger pieces of rust c/s. Stamp sand dollar repeatedly on card front and card inside with Golden Wheat ink, masking as needed. Stamp sandpipers with the Flannel ink along the bottom of the card inside. Attach the matted sandpiper images to each side of the card front. Set aside.
Enlarge Slipcover template (138%) to fit card. Trace onto rust c/s and cut out. Score along side fold lines. Stamp sandpipers and a few sand dollars with the Flannel ink, and more sand dollars with the Golden Wheat ink on front and back. Fold slipcover in half and glue side tabs together. With the circle punch, punch a semi-circle in the top center of the slipcover.
Punch one circle out of the olive c/s and cut in half. Attach the rust semi-circles already cut, on top and attach behind the interlocking tabs on card front.
