LEAVES & BUTTON CARD – by Jinny Boyce – August 2006
SUPPLIES
White, navy & marigold card stock.
Autumn Sunset Rainbow pad ink.
Brayer
Water brush
Buttons
Hemp twine
White gel pen
Adhesive for buttons (I used crystal lacquer).
LIWP stamps:
Leaf 2 # 845-104D
Leaf 3 # 845-105C
Leaf 4 # 845-106C
Oak Leaf # 845-103F
Large Leaf # 839-106G
INSTRUCTIONS
Score white card stock @ 1” increments in vertically and horizontally to create
a grid pattern. Turn card stock so raised ridges are down.
Brayer white card stock with rainbow ink. Stamps leaves randomly with rainbow
ink. Squeeze rainbow pad to get in on inside of cover. Use water brush to pick
up ink and color in leaves. Try not to get ink into the grid lines. Highlight
grid lines with white gel pen if desired.
Thread buttons with hemp twine, tie and glue on top of stamped piece.
Layer onto navy then onto marigold card.
