SUPPLIES
Stamps: Large Single Boat #035-013J and Scrabble Alphabet set #887-102L – letters D & A by Lasting Impressions with Panache.
Cardstock: White and Burgundy
Ink: Distress Ink – Aged Mahogany – ink pad and reinker
Other: Jute, water brush, adhesive, Q-Tip and foam tape.
INSTRUCTIONS
Cut burgundy cardstock 8-1/2” x 5-1/2” scored and folded at the 4-1/4” mark, with fold at top. Cut white cardstock 4” x 5-1/4”. Stamp boat in center and repeat around edges making 5 impressions total. Use water brush to water color the center boat only.
Using a Q-tip or other similar applicator, color only the letter of the D (x2) and A of the Scrabble Alphabet set and stamp side by side to spell DAD on a scrap of white cardstock. Cut out and layer onto a scrap piece of burgundy cardstock. Adhere to bottom right corner.
Take 2 lengths of jute and tie a boat knot (directions found online doing a Google search). Wrap ends around white panel at left side and adhere in place.
Using foam tape, adhere white panel to card.
