Supplies:
Favorite photo of the shore
Scrabble alphabet stamps (887-102L)
Driftwood stamp (074-002D)
Conch Shell stamp (123-004C)
Gray pigment ink
Lime pigment ink
Gray/white blended embossing powder
Clear embossing powder
Heat tool
Scissors (I find the small bladed type work well for detail
cutting)
Craft knife & mat
Lime green card stock, one 6 x 6” piece
Gray card stock, one 4 x 4” piece and one ¾ x 8.5”
strip for title
Archival adhesive of choice
1)
Stamp Conch Shell in rotating pattern on the bottom of the 6 x 6
foundation.
2)
Sprinkle gray embossing powder over row of stamped shells. Tap excess
onto scrap paper and pour back into container.
3)
Use heat tool to melt powder until almost smooth.
4)
Stamp next row of shells above the previous row. Powder and heat.
5)
Repeat until foundation is covered with embossed Conch Shells.
6)
Stamp title letters using Scrabble alphabet stamps on gray strip using
lime pigment ink.
7)
Emboss using clear powder.
8)
Cut out letters with scissors, trimming corners to match stamped image.
9)
Stamp Driftwood on bottom of 4 x 4” gray card stock using lime pigment
ink 3 times.
10)
Emboss with clear powder.
11)
Place gray 4 x 4” card stock on mat and using craft knife, cut just
above embossed Driftwood starting & ending cut line ¼” from sides.
12)
Slip cropped photo behind Driftwood, adjusting placement as needed and
adhere.
13)
Position title letters ½” from edge and 1/8” from each other and
adhere.
14)
Position mounted photo ½” from top and left side and adhere.
