“Hoppy Holiday Cat”
Md. Pogo Kitty stamp ()
Sm. Santa Hat stamp (009-009B)
Paws Alphabet stamps (887-101M)
Ho Ho Ho stamp (028-004D)
Black archival ink pad
Markers in red, gray & golden yellow
Glitter glue
Red card stock, 2 pieces, one cut to 8 ½” x 5 ½”, finished card size 5 ½” x 4 ¼”
& one cut to 4 ¼” x 2 1/8”
Golden yellow card stock scraps, enough to cut eleven 5/8” circles
White glossy card stock, one piece cut to 2” x 4” & scraps large enough for the
Santa Hat & individual letters from the Paws alphabet
White card stock, one piece cut to 4” x 5 ¼”
Scissors
½” circle punch
5/8” circle punch (I used a cutting system for this size circle)
Adhesive of choice
1)
Stamp the Ho Ho Ho stamp using the black ink in rows across the white
card stock. Let dry.
2)
Use the red marker to color in all the hats on the Ho’s. let dry.
3)
Stamp the cat image using the black ink onto the glossy card stock. Let
dry.
4)
Color the cat using the markers. Let dry.
5)
Stamp the hat using the black ink onto a scrap of glossy card stock. Let
dry.
6)
Color the hat in using the red marker. Let dry.
7)
Cut the hat out and attach above the cat image.
8)
Apply the glitter glue to the bell on the end of the hat & to the impact
stars. Let dry.
9)
Stamp the paw letters using the black ink onto scraps of glossy card
stock. Let dry.
10)
Use the ½” circle punch to cut out the paw letters.
11)
Use the 5/8” punch to cut out 11 circles from the yellow card stock.
12)
Attach the paw letters to the yellow circles.
13)
Attach the cat image w/hat to the smaller piece of red card stock.
14)
Attach the stamped background piece to the card front.
15)
Attach the layered cat image to the lower right corner of the card front.
16)
Attach the paw letters to the front of the card.
