Versamark ink
Dye inks in: Denim & Stonewashed
Detail embossing powder in: white & clear
Radiant Pearls in Snow Queen
Crystal glitter glue
Blue card stock, 2 pieces, one cut to 8 1/2” x 5 ½” folded to A2 size, one scrap
3’ x 3’
White card stock, 1 piece cut to 5 ¼” x 4”
Heat tool
Paint brush
Blender pen
Spray bottle with fine mist filled with water
Paper towels
Scissors
Adhesive of choice
1) Stamp Moon & Stars using the Versamark ink on the scrap of blue card stock.
2) Emboss the Moon & Stars (follow the directions on the “Technique Page”) using the white detail powder.
3) Paint the moon using the paint brush and Radiant Pearls paint.
4) Accent the eye of the moon and the stars using the glitter glue. Set aside to dry.
5) Stamp the Moon Writing using the Versamark all over the white card stock until covered.
6) Emboss the writing using the clear powder.
7) Use the blender pen to moisten a section of the white card stock over the embossing.
8) Pick up ink from the inside of the lid of the Denim ink pad using the blender pen and color the “washed” area on the white card stock, dispersing the ink as you go.
9) Repeat #8 until the whole back ground is streaked with the dark blue.
10) Repeat #8 using the Stonewashed ink.
11) Spritz the white card stock with the spray bottle until the ink bleeds together. This will soften the colors.
12) Blot the wet card stock with the paper towels until it just damp.
13) Use the heat tool to finish drying the wet card stock. The embossing will “rise” in some areas depending on how thoroughly you heated it before. (There is no “right” way to do this, so don’t worry if it comes out differently than you expected.)
14) Place the now dry piece inside a sheet of paper towel and place under a heavy book to flatten it while it cools.
15) Use the scissors to cut out the dry Moon & Stars image.
16) Adhere the white card stock to the front of the folded Blue card stock.
17) Adhere the moon image to the front of the card.
