Supplies:

Holly, Jolly Christmas stamp (165-004G)
Sm. Holly Wreath stamp (011-005G)
Wallpaper stamp (104-003F)
Gold pigment ink
Green dye ink
Gold paint pen
Gel pens in metallic red, green & gold
Gold embossing powder in both detail & regular style
Pre-made green tag with grommet, 3 1/8 x 6 ¼”
Green card stock, one piece cut to 3 x 2 ½”
Holly corner punch
Heat tool
Scissors or craft knife & mat
Self adhesive dimensional foam, 1/16” thick
2 pieces of ribbon, at least 15” long

1)      Stamp Wallpaper stamp using green ink all over one side of the green tag.

2)      Use the red pen to make “berries” below each cluster of “leaves” stamped on the tag. Let dry.

3)      Stamp the wreath using the gold ink on the 3 x 2 ½” piece of green card stock.

4)      Sprinkle the detail gold embossing powder over the stamped image; tap off the excess powder onto a piece of scrap paper; and pour the loose powder back into the container.

5)      Use the heat tool to melt powder until smooth. Let cool.

6)      Color the now embossed image using the 3 gel pens. Let dry.

7)      Use the punch on all the tag corners.

8)      Stamp the phrase using the gold ink on the bottom of the tag so the last word is between the 2 punched corners.

9)      Sprinkle the regular gold embossing powder over the stamped image; tap off the excess powder onto a piece of scrap paper; and pour the loose powder back into the container.

10)  Use the heat tool to melt powder until smooth. Let cool.

11)  Using scissors or knife, cut out as many of the little spaces between elements on the wreath as you can manage. Some of the spaces are so tiny that trying to cut them out may damage the embossed enamel. Be Careful!

12)  Cut out the center of the wreath.

13)  Cut the wreath out of the card stock.

14)  If you’ve cracked the enamel, reheat the cut piece using the heat tool just long enough to erase the cracks and/or chips.

15)  Use the gold paint pen to “gild” the grommet (& the hole protector if your tag came with one). Do the back first & let it dry before you do the front. (If your tag didn’t come with a grommet, you can use a 3/16” metal eyelet instead. If you want the protector as well, take a 1” scrap of card stock, punch a 3/16” circle in the center, take a ½” circle punch and center the hole over the already punched hole & punch. Place the protector over the hole in the tag and set the eyelet thru’ both holes. Then gild as directed.)

16)  Slip both ribbons thru’ the grommet and tie in an over hand knot. Trim the ends.

17)  Cut small pieces of the foam and use them to mount the wreath onto the front of the tag.
