Supplies:

A photo of your favorite trick or treater
Halloween background stamp (183-002L)
Dog Bone Frame stamp (147-001I)
EEEEEK! Stamp (149-003C)
White pigment ink
Detail white embossing powder
Charcoal chalk ink
White gel pen
Black card stock, one piece cut to 6 x 6"
White card stock, one scrap large enough to stamp phrase 4 times
Heat tool
Coluzzle template system, nested wavy frame template
Deckle scissors
Scissors
3 x 3" sticky note
Archival adhesive

1)      Stamp the frame stamp using the white ink onto the center of the 6 x 6 card stock.

2)      Sprinkle the copper embossing powder over image, tap the excess onto a piece of scrap paper and pour back into the container.

3)      Heat the powder until smooth using the heat tool.

4)      Stamp the frame again using black chalk ink onto the 3 x 3” sticky note; place as much of the image over the sticky end of the note. Trim the edges of note to make a narrow border of black paper around the frame.

5)      Place the mask made in step 4 over the embossed frame.

6)      Stamp the background stamp using the white ink once in each corner to fill the page; stamping over the mask as needed. Let the ink dry before removing the mask.

7)      Remove the mask and color in the frame using the gel pen. Let dry.

8)      While the gel pen is drying; stamp the phrase, using the chalk ink, 4 times on the white scrap leaving enough room around each image to cut the words apart using the deckle scissors.

9)      Cut apart the stamped phrase images using the deckle scissors.

10)  Use the nested frame template to cut out the inside of the embossed frame. The sizing of the template image does not match the size of the embossed frame; adjust as needed to complete the cuts.

11)  Use the scissors to trim up any uneven edges in the opening you just made.

12)  Adhere the photo to the back of the opening in the frame.

13)  Adhere the phrases to the corners of the 6 x 6 foundation piece.
