Supplies:
A cool winter photo
Winter Wonderland stamp (194-004D)
Snowflake Cluster stamp (013-007E)
Copper pigment ink
Detail embossing powder in black & copper
4 small star brads
Black card stock, one piece cut to 6 x 6", one piece cut to 3-5/8 x ¾"
Copper textured paper, one piece cut to 4½ x 3¾", one piece cut to 5/8 x 3 3/8"
Long tweezers
Heat tool
1/16" circle punch
Transfer dots or glue dots
1) Stamp the snowflake cluster using copper ink down one side of 6 x 6 black card stock.
2) Sprinkle the copper embossing powder over image, tap the excess onto a piece of scrap paper and pour back into the container.
3) Heat the powder until smooth using the heat tool.
4) Repeat 1, 2, & 3 on the other 3 sides of the 6 x 6 black card stock.
5) Decide which side is the “top” and stamp a second row of snowflakes using the copper ink below the top row.
6) Sprinkle the copper embossing powder over image, tap the excess onto a piece of scrap paper and pour back into the container.
7) Heat the powder until smooth using the heat tool.
8) Stamp the phrase using the copper ink onto the small piece of copper paper.
9) Sprinkle the black embossing powder over image, tap the excess onto a piece of scrap paper and pour back into the container.
10) Heat the powder until smooth using the heat tool.
11) Layer the now embossed piece of copper paper onto the small piece of black card stock using the adhesive dots.
12) Crop the photo to 4 ¼ x 3 ½” and layer onto the large piece of copper paper.
13) Use the hole punch to make a hole ¼” to 3/8” from each corner.
14) Pick up a star brad by the prongs using the tweezers and use the heat tool to warm up the surface of the brad.
15) Dip the front of the brad into the copper detail powder and heat until smooth. Set aside to cool.
16) Repeat step 15 for the other 3 brads.
17) Place one brad in each hole and secure.
18) Adhere the mounted photo ¾” from the bottom and sides.
19) Adhere the mounted phrase centered and equally spaced between the photo & the top.
