1)
Stamp the jungle image using black ink on to the white card stock. Let
dry.
2)
Use the blender pen to pick up some ruby ink from the lid of the stamp
pad. (Most dye ink pads have a somewhat flexible lid. If you press the lid down
until it touches the ink pad, you will have a thin puddle of ink to use for
water coloring. If your dye ink pad does not have this type of lid, you can
press the corner of the ink pad on a junk cd to make a little puddle of ink to
use for this method of coloring.) Use the picked up ink to color in the Santa
hats and some of the tree decorations.
3)
When you are done coloring with the ruby, wipe the tip of the pen on
white scratch paper until the ink runs clear. (The tip may be stained, but as
long as the tip leaves no colored marks, it is to be considered clean.)
4)
Use the blender pen to pick up the other colors, one at a time, and color
in the rest of the image. Clean the tip between each color used. Let dry.
5)
Use the glitter glue to highlight all areas that could be metal and were
colored using the mustard ink. i.e. the star on the top of the tree, the bells
on the tips of the hats and on the ground, & on the garland. Let dry.
(Here’s a tip: if getting the glue into small spaces, like the tips of the
star, is a challenge, use a straight pin to drag the glue into those small
spaces.)
6)
Use the companion template on the top of the white card stock to round it
off.
7)
Use the small corner rounder on the lower corners of the white card
stock.
8)
Use the circle template on the top of the folded green card stock to
round it off 1/8” larger than the white card stock.
9)
Use the small corner rounder on the lower corners of the green card
stock.
10)
Adhere the white card stock to the front of the folded green card stock,
centered.
11)
On the right side of the inside of the green card stock, stamp the phrase
using the vanilla ink. Let dry.
12)
Adhere the back of the folded green card stock to the ruby card,
centered.
