Brads
Tools: Heat Tool, Rubber Brayer and Craft Knife
Paper: Glossy White Cardstock and Metallic Pearl Cardstock
Instructions for A2 size card:
1.
Stamp Romance Background onto glossy cardstock using embossing ink. Stamp
again just above or below the image you just stamped.
2.
Heat emboss using clear embossing powder.
3.
Stamp 2 hearts and 1 border onto metallic pearl cardstock using embossing
ink.
4.
Heat emboss using magenta embossing powder.
5.
Trim Romance Background piece to about 3 ¾” x 5 ¼”.
6.
Loading the brayer with Kaleidacolor ink, roll across the Romance
Background back and forth until the ink is distributed onto the paper. Do not
let the brayer stray to the left or right.
7.
Turn the piece of paper 90 degrees and repeat step 6. Reink the brayer if
you want a darker and more even ink distribution. Stay aware of your color
placement – if pink is on the right, make sure your paper is oriented correctly.
8.
Rub any ink from the clear embossed image with a paper towel or tissue.
9.
Adhere this piece to the card front.
10.
Trim out both hearts, including the centers. Slit one heart in the upper
right region so that you can slip the other heart inside to link them.
11.
Adhere linked hearts to the upper left corner of the card front.
12.
Trim the scrolled border closely and adhere to the lower right corner in
a diagonal orientation.
13.
Trim the ends off that go off the right and bottom edges.
14.
Add brads at both ends of the scrolling border. Done!
